— Raduga — Park Park
Park Raduga is located on the territory of a shopping center in Yekaterinburg. Its total area is 7GA. The park stretches around the lake on the site of a former granite quarry and that’s why it has a steep rocky relief.
2 concepts were developed during the work of the competition for the reconstruction of the facades and interiors of the mall and the adjacent park. In the first variant we presented the concept of the “rainbow” as a physical phenomenon of nature and the “Rainbow” as a magic in the second.

The rainbow is a natural phenomenon. We’ve taken inspiration in the historical mining past of the place, which has formed a unique relief. In this concept the "Rainbow" is considered as a physical phenomenon of nature. In this context, the main idea of development is the learning through entertainment and interaction of visitors with the surrounding nature. The team thought out a scenario for the amusement park throughout the year. There are immersive attractions that imitate the phenomenon of nature and other physics laws. So the park is a large open-air science and entertainment center (museum), that attracts visitors of all ages.
The rainbow is magic. In contrast to the scientific approach in this concept, the “Rainbow” is the objectification of magic. Tales of the most famous Ural writer P.P. Bazhov served as inspiration for the creation of a modern magical forest, with bright colors and mysterious paths. The main magic tool here is lighting, which changes the appearance of the park in the evening. The park is designed to awaken the spirit of adventure in visitors of all ages. The magical trail passing over the lake, rising to the tops of the pine trees and dissolving in a mysterious forest calls to unravel the secrets of the famous Mistress of the Copper Mountain.
