Ibis/Adagio – Hotel

The hotel is located on the north bank of the Oka River along the main route from Moscow to the city center of Kaluga. The complex consists of three parts according to the Accor hotel format: the IBIS with 160 rooms, an Adagio with 129 rooms and a retail section on the ground floor. The panoramic view of the surrounding area serves as a symbol for the city.

Next to our plot of land is the Nativity Temple of the Blessed Virgin, on the Kaluzhka river, dating from the 17th century and the Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics. We were trying not to dominate the surrounding area, that is why only 1/3 of the building is a tower and the rest of the rooms are located in the lower part.

The colors and facade materials correspond to the rest of the surrounding building mélange. We have located the restaurant and conference zones on the first floor, and as well, more than half of the rooms have an amazing view on the Oka River and the opposite embankment. The site has easy access from all the surrounding roads.
