Brosko Mall

The shopping center is located on the Amur river waterfront and is intended to become a popular venue for shopping and leisure.
The concept of facades originated from the fact that this part of Russia is a gold mining area. We created a holistic building which stands out in the context, but can also be perceived as a delicate supplementation of the existing natural surroundings.

Landscape — combination of nature elements

Area: 14000m2

Stones
Water
Wind
Grasses

The main idea forming the space around the mall is the interaction of stone and water in the natural landscape of the region and its long gold mining history. The contrast of static and dynamic forms of these elements emphasizes the details of facade of the mall and connects conceptually all the functional areas from the main entrance to the embankment. Local arboretum located opposite the mall inspired us to use region-specific plants for the project.
New embankment should become a point of attraction for local residents and visitors of Brosco mall, different recreation areas and various activities for all ages are providing here. There are summer verandas of the cafe, ping-pong tables and a skateboard area. Large amphitheater descends to the water with seating and a ramp. In front of the water park, there is an interactive children's water playground. The promenade ends with a quiet relaxation area surrounded by a green massif, with swings under the pergola and the observation deck.
